Am I the only one who had a 90s Dover car top governor just snap on a routine inspection?

Remember my buddy's story about his governor cable snapping mid-test? He ended up just swapping the whole assembly for a modern retrofit kit.

A fence job in Galveston after Hurricane Ike taught me to double-check my post depth in flood zones.

Man, that's brutal. I mean, local codes can get so weirdly specific sometimes. It's like they forget people actually have to build the stuff.

I was at the library downtown yesterday and saw they have a whole new section for local history archives. What's the best way to start digging into that stuff?

Actually, that archive has been there for years.

My wife and I blew $80 on a show that was just people talking in a room

Yeah, totally. I get so into those long dialogue scenes that I forget to watch the actual plot. My own attention span is the real villain of the story, honestly. I'll be so focused on two characters just arguing in a kitchen that the whole world could end and I'd miss it. It's a problem.

That 25-cent cotter pin, did it look worn or just snap clean?

Serious question, do you guys always use a line block for soldier courses?
