Found a whole box of old fishing lures for $5 at the Springfield flea market last Saturday.

They were from the 70s and 80s, mostly Mepps spinners and some wooden plugs, just sitting under a table. The guy running the stall said he was clearing out his dad's garage and didn't know what they were worth. What's the best way to figure out a fair price for vintage tackle like this?

My uncle's garage is a time capsule of that stuff.

Garages like that are the best. @derek_ramirez My grandpa had boxes of old car manuals and tools you just don't see anymore. The smell of oil and dust is its own kind of history. Bet your uncle's place has that same feel.

Heard some guys at the bait shop talking about old lure collector groups online. Might be worth checking those out for price ideas, right?
