Question about using a regular utility knife vs a hook blade for LVP

Honestly, I fought with a standard blade on a big LVP job last week and it was a mess, chipping edges and taking forever. Switched to a hook blade halfway through and it was like night and day, just clean cuts every time. Anyone else have a specific tool that saved their butt on a recent install?

Really? I had the total opposite experience with a hook blade, it kept snagging on the plank seams. A sharp utility knife and a straight edge worked way better for me once I got the pressure right.

I read somewhere that blade angle matters a lot for that.
