Showerthought: I found a forgotten 80s show by looking up old commercials

I was trying to remember this weird cartoon from my childhood for years, but all I had was a vague memory of a blue car. I got the idea to search for old toy commercials from 1987 on a video site. After maybe 20 minutes, I found it: 'The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers'. That jingle unlocked everything. My favorite part was when the team had to outsmart a space squid by using a mirror. Has anyone else had luck finding a lost show this way?

Finding old favorites is the best. I once got so excited I bought three boxes, then remembered I'm an adult who eats like one bowl a month.
