Got the furnace airflow dialed in just right... melts are way cleaner now.

Yeah, saw a YouTube deep dive on this. The guy was saying even a small change in the fan speed or damper position can really cut down on turbulence in the chamber. Less turbulence means less junk getting whipped up into your melt. Makes total sense why your stuff is coming out cleaner now.

Honestly the_amy, I've tried that exact thing and it didn't do much for me. Feels like people online chase perfect numbers more than real results. My guess is most of the junk comes from the crucible itself, not the air.

But is turbulence really that big of a deal in practice? I get the theory @the_amy, but I doubt most of us would see a real difference from just tweaking a fan. It seems like one of those things that gets overblown online.
