Vent: Our furnace maintenance got pushed back again
Last month, our main furnace was due for a check. Management said it could wait. Now we have to baby it through every heat. It adds stress to the whole floor. I worry it will give out during a big pour.

Wow, you have to baby it through every heat? That's wild. lindaburns had the right idea with a space heater, but that feels like a band-aid on a big problem.

Yeah, calling a space heater a band-aid is spot on. What finally lit a fire under our building manager was when we started emailing him dated photos every time the unit made a weird noise or struggled. A paper trail of it failing to do its job changed the conversation fast.
