Back when my office waste bin was always full
I used to print everything for client meetings and keep paper records. Now, all my work is on the computer and shared online. It saves money and helps cut down on trash. I do miss having physical files to touch, but it's better for the environment. Freelancing today is just simpler and cleaner.

I understand missing physical files, but the move to digital really does help the environment.

Man, I feel that too @ericb66. It's a good point about it being better for the planet, which matters a lot. I just get nostalgic for some old paper sometimes.

I get what you're saying about it being better for the planet, but I'm not totally convinced. All those data centers and servers for our digital stuff use a huge amount of energy too. It just moves the problem somewhere we can't see it. Sometimes I wonder if the real answer is using less stuff overall, not just switching from paper to screens.
