In my hometown's art studio, the teacher had a poster about asymmetry. She claimed symmetry was too perfect to have feeling. So following that, my failed attempt at a symmetrical vase must be full of deep meaning. Honestly, if all asymmetrical art is soulful, then my toddler's crayon scribbles belong in a gallery.
