Just tried using only two colors for a client's logo and it actually worked

My client wanted a new logo for their coffee shop, but their budget was tight. I decided to push back on their request for a full rainbow palette and stuck with just a deep brown and a cream white. I thought it would look boring, but focusing on shape and negative space made the whole thing feel high-end and clean. Has anyone else found that limiting your palette forces better design choices?

Sounds good, but that's technically three colors.

Wait, @piperr58, you think cream white counts as a color?

Honestly, I used to think more colors were always better. But you're right, and @nora954 has a point, it forces you to get creative with the basics.
