Okay, I have to admit I was wrong about the whole 'Voynich Manuscript' thing

For years I thought it was just a clever, modern hoax, maybe from the 1900s. Then I read a study from 2021 that carbon-dated the vellum to between 1404 and 1438. Seeing that solid, scientific date from a real lab changed my mind completely. It means someone put a crazy amount of work into a fake book over 500 years ago, which is its own kind of mystery. I still have no idea what it says, but I'm convinced it's a genuine old puzzle now. Has anyone else had a piece of evidence totally flip their view on a historical mystery?

Yeah, that carbon dating really got me too, totally changed how I saw it.

What part of the carbon dating results shifted your view, @evan295? Was it the specific dates they found?
