Rant: Local indie shows are going green with less waste these days
Been hitting smaller venues and seeing fewer plastic cups and flyers around. Bands are asking fans to bring their own bottles or use reusable ones sold at the door. Even the t-shirts are often printed on organic cotton now. It's a cool shift that makes the whole scene feel more thoughtful.

My friend saw bands using reusable bottles and now he brings his own to every gig.

The security line at Pitchfork last year took 45 minutes just for bag checks. That kind of wait makes me wonder if the hassle @piper_coleman mentioned is more about venue rules than the bottle itself. Do you find some places are way worse about this than others?
