PSA: That week I tried meal prepping almost ruined my life
Honestly, I spent last Sunday cooking 15 meals and my fridge smelled like a wet gym bag by Tuesday. My chicken went bad because I didn't cool it fast enough, and I ate a salad that gave me the runs for two days. What made it stand out was I had to throw $60 of food in the trash and ended up ordering pizza every night. Has anyone else had a meal prep go this wrong or is it just me?

Bro that's brutal. $60 down the drain and a bad salad on top of it, I'd be so pissed. Props for trying though, meal prep is way harder than people make it look.

Ngl I've been meal prepping for three years straight and never had any of that happen. You just didn't cool your food properly or keep your fridge cold enough.

Oh man, that is brutal. I've totally been there with the chicken going bad thing, it's so frustrating to think you're being smart and then it's all wasted. I had a similar thing happen with some prepped ground beef once, smelled fine on Sunday but by Tuesday it was like a science experiment in a Tupperware. It's honestly a gamble sometimes, especially if your fridge isn't one of those super cold ones, so I feel your pain on that $60 loss and the pizza nights.
