I hear you saying it took half the time with graph paper, but that might just be for a one-off simple project. Those fancy apps are built to handle complex changes and client revisions without starting over. If your client wanted to move the shelves or change dimensions last minute, redrawing on paper would eat up that time saved. The software freezing is a bug issue, not a sign that basic tools are better for every job. It's more about using the right tool for the task, not ditching tech completely. My two cents is that sometimes the learning curve pays off when you avoid bigger headaches down the line.
