inDAE binge shows that clash with their real-life values?
My cousin Maria is terrified of heights. She'll binge watch free solo climbing docs for hours, @shane_wilson. It makes no sense because she gets dizzy on a step stool. I see the same thing with my pacifist friends who love war movies. They'd never hurt a fly but can't get enough of battle scenes. It's like we enjoy the thrill without any real risk.

inMy daughter's unprompted shout for Cassiopeia from the backyard
Your point about the real names not mattering hit home. I always figured you had to learn the proper terms for everything. But hearing how your niece sees Orion's belt, it clicked for me too. Now I just look for shapes that stand out, not what some book calls them.

inFrom my design job, remote work killed our creative spark
Seriously, this hits home for me. I've seen the same thing happen in my own field, where online meetings just don't spark the same energy as being together. It's like how texting a friend feels different from talking face to face, you lose the little moments that lead to big ideas. I notice this in how people plan events or even make decisions in groups now, everything is so planned and safe. That lack of random chat or quick sketches kills the fun and the risk. Do you think some jobs just need that in person buzz to really work?
