Paid $120 for a landscaping company to mulch my yard and they left bare patches everywhere

Hired a crew from a place off Menaul last month, said they'd do a full refresh on my flower beds. They dumped the mulch in piles and spread it maybe 2 inches thick in some spots, left big dirt patches near the shrubs. Had to go buy my own bags from Lowe's and fix it myself. Anyone had better luck with a specific mulching service around town?

Totally feel you on this one. Paid a crew from a place off Lomas last spring and it was the same circus. They dumped the mulch in these giant piles and just left it, like they expected me to spread it myself. And they put maybe an inch in some spots and nothing in others, so I had to go buy a whole extra yard from Home Depot to fix it. For $120 you'd think they could at least rake it out even, but nope, just left it looking like a mess. Some of these guys just want to show up, dump a load, and bounce without doing the actual work.

Paid $120 for my lawn guys and got the same deal. Piles of mulch everywhere, dirt patches all over. Had to rake it out myself and buy three extra bags just to cover the spots. People act like a landscaping company is gonna make your yard look like a golf course. It's dirt and wood chips, not brain surgery. You paid $120, not $1200. Slap some more down and move on.
