Threw $60 at a broken irrigation valve in my yard yesterday
Picked up a new sprinkler manifold at Lowe's for $60 and spent the afternoon digging it out in the 95-degree heat. Had a leak that was wasting water for weeks, now my back hurts but my grass is actually getting watered right again. Anyone else deal with ancient sprinkler systems here in ABQ?

My buddy Mike bought one of those fancy ones for $75 and it cracked within a month. He ended up just getting the cheap $20 one from Lowe's and it's been fine for two years now.
