Finally warmed up to the 12 episode format after watching Frieren

I used to skip anything under 24 episodes because I figured short shows couldn't build a good world, but Frieren at 28 episodes actually made me realize the pacing was the whole point. The way it jumped through time and still made every moment hit, that convinced me to give more single cour shows a shot. What short anime actually changed your mind about quick series?
