Found a shortcut for analyzing fight scenes that saved me hours
Been rewatching Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 and noticed how much time I waste pausing to analyze choreography. Started using the 0.5x speed trick on YouTube for specific cuts instead of full scenes. Worked for the Mahito vs. Yuji fight, cut my analysis time from 3 hours to maybe 45 minutes. Anyone else got a faster way to break down sakuga sequences?

yo the 0.5x speed trick is legit, i do that for sakuga too. honestly the thing that saved me even more time is just focusing on the key frames before and after the fast cuts, like in that Mahito vs Yuji fight the moments where their faces shift or the impact frames hit, thats where all the weight is. i used to rewatch whole sequences like 5 times trying to catch every frame but now i just loop specific 2 second sections. it's wild how much you miss at regular speed, especially in fights with crazy motion blur.

Huh, I mean I guess if you're really that deep into it... but like is analyzing fight scenes really that serious? I watch sakuga and enjoy it but I'm not out here timing how long it takes me to break down every single frame. Seems like a lot of effort for something that's supposed to be entertainment, you know? But hey, if that's your thing, go for it.
