Used to toss coffee grounds in the trash, now they go straight into my bokashi bucket

Switched about 4 months ago after my kitchen started smelling like old grounds every morning. The bucket sits under the sink and I just dump them in with a scoop of bran, zero smell even after a week. Anyone else find bokashi handles coffee better than traditional worm bins?

Used to toss coffee grounds in the trash" was me for years, I thought bokashi was just another trendy composting thing. But after trying it I totally get why you switched, the smell thing is real and my old worm bin always got weird with coffee. Now I just dump them in with bran and it's honestly way less hassle than I expected.

Worm bins do great with coffee if you balance it with browns, you might've had too much moisture.
