A customer's comment about my work van made me rethink my whole setup
About two months ago, a regular client in Springfield said, 'Oscar, your van looks like a bomb went off in a parts bin.' I realized I was losing at least 15 minutes per job just digging for the right socket or valve. I spent a weekend building a simple plywood shelf unit with labeled bins for common parts (like igniters and door switches). Now everything has a spot, and my first call of the day starts smoother. Has anyone else done a major van re-org that actually stuck?

Yeah that "fifteen minutes every single job" thing is brutal. I started timing my setup and pack-up with my phone's stopwatch. Found out I was wasting time looking for tools. Now I lay everything out in the same order before I even start the car.
