Tried cooking rice in chicken broth instead of water last night

My wife has been telling me for years that broth adds flavor but I always figured it was just a waste of good broth. I finally tried it with some jasmine rice and 2 cups of store brand chicken broth from Aldi. The rice came out way more savory than usual and I didn't even need salt. Has anyone else made this switch or do you have a better liquid to try?

Have you ever tried using a little bit of coconut milk with the water? I love how that turns out, it's almost like a creamy risotto but way easier.

Oh, careful there. Coconut milk isn't exactly risotto territory - it's more of a Thai curry thing. You'll end up with sweet, coconutty rice instead of the savory, starchy risotto vibe.
