Brought my F-150 to a quick lube place in Nashua and watched them struggle for 20 minutes

I was passing through Nashua last week and stopped at a chain lube place for a simple oil change on my 2014 F-150. The kid dropped the drain plug into the catch pan, fished it out, then cross-threaded it so bad I heard it from the waiting room. I ended up walking over and rethreading it myself while he watched, and the manager gave me a free tire rotation for my trouble. Has anyone else had to fix a shop's mistake on their own truck before?

Man I feel your pain, I once watched a guy put the wrong oil in my truck and just nodded along like an idiot.

Ugh @jamiekim, that's rough. You trust a shop and they still mess up something that simple. Hard to speak up in the moment when you're not 100% sure either.
