My own breaker bar saved me $80 on a stuck caliper bracket bolt last Tuesday

Had a 2005 Ford Focus with a seized caliper bracket bolt and after 20 minutes of PB Blaster and a regular ratchet not budging it, I grabbed my 24-inch breaker bar from my truck and it came loose with one smooth pull, so has anyone else found that just having the right length of leverage is the real secret to not snapping fasteners?

Leverage always wins that fight.

My uncle tried that with a rusty crowbar against a car jack last summer, didn't end well for the crowbar.
