Got told my wire bundles looked like a bird's nest back in '08
Old boss at the regional hangar in Spokane pulled me aside. He said, 'If you can't trace a single wire in under 30 seconds, it's wrong.' Started using wax string and marking every tie point. Changed how I plan a run before I even pick up a tool. Anyone else have a simple rule that stuck with them?

Your old boss was right about making things traceable. I got the same talk about keeping bundles tight enough to drop a quarter through the loops. Makes you slow down and do it right the first time, doesn't it?
