Talking to a ranger in the Tetons about the old Teton Crest Trail
He said 'the route you remember is gone, the new one is better if you let it be.' It made me realize I've been chasing a memory of a trail instead of seeing what's actually there now. Anyone else get stubborn about a specific old route?

Right? The old commute thing is so real (my old one had this awful left turn that added like 15 minutes every single day).
