A customer told me my receipts were impossible to read and it made me rethink everything

They said the tiny font and crowded margins gave them a headache. Now I use 12pt sans serif with double spacing and customers actually comment on how clear they are. Has anyone else had to redo their receipt layout after feedback?

Did they mention if the font size was the only problem or was the layout itself an issue too? Something like margins and spacing can make just as big a difference as the typeface. Wondering if you tested a couple versions before settling on that 12pt sans serif.

Eh, 12pt is fine if you just tweak the margins and line height.
