My bank's mobile app crashed during a wire transfer at 2:47 PM on a Friday

I was sitting in a Starbucks on Main St trying to send $3,200 to my contractor for a kitchen job. The app froze, then logged me out, then showed a generic error. I spent 45 minutes on hold with customer service while the contractor texted me every 5 minutes asking where the money was. Turns out their server had a routine update that nobody warned anyone about. Has anyone else had a bank app screw them over at the worst possible time?
