That $5 bread machine was a money trap I fell into hard
I grabbed a dusty Oster bread machine from a church rummage sale in Austin for $5 thinking I'd save on store bought loaves. After burning through 12 bags of flour and getting three rock-hard bricks in a row, I figured out the heating element was totally shot. Anyone else buy a cheap appliance that ended up costing you way more in supplies than it was worth?

rock-hard bricks" lmao, I had a cheap air fryer that just blasted everything into charcoal crumbs.

Mine turns everything into either rubber or dust, there's no in-between setting.
