Killed my peace lily with tap water for 6 months before someone at the nursery clued me in
I kept wondering why the leaves were all crispy and brown no matter what I did. Turns out I just needed to let the water sit out overnight so the chlorine evaporates. Has anyone else had a plant bounce back from something that simple?

Wait WHAT. You mean just leaving tap water out fixes it?? I've been killing plants for years thinking I just had a black thumb or something lmao

Oh man yeah I did the same thing for years, leaving water out overnight actually made a huge difference for me too.

Right? It's crazy the simple stuff we miss. My grandma used to put her watering can on the windowsill in the sun before she'd use it, swore by it.
