Setting up for a curved wall had me waiting on the right tools

I got hired to build a curved brick garden wall, but my regular trowel just wasn't cutting it for the tight radius. Had to order a specialty pointing tool that took ten days to arrive, so the whole site was on hold. Felt like forever just staring at the stacked bricks. How do you deal with equipment delays messing with your timeline?

Ugh, my friend waited weeks for a special drill bit.

Imagine waiting that long for a tiny piece of metal that basically just makes holes. The hype around some of these specialty tools gets wild. By the time it shows up, the whole project you needed it for has probably fallen apart on its own. Your friend must have the patience of a saint, or their entire life is on hold for this one drill bit. Feels like ordering some rare artifact instead of a tool.

Totally! Waiting that long for a drill bit is just nuts. My own project stalled once because of a missing part. The whole thing just sits there, half done. It makes you wonder if the tool is even worth the wait. Really kills the momentum on any DIY project.
