We had to tear out a whole morning's work, but we caught it before the inspector showed. Ever had a plan reading mistake cost you big?

Tbh it's just a morning's work. Not like the whole house fell down.

Touched wood is right though, scraping off old caulk and redoing it is a solid morning. Read somewhere that silicone-based caulk lasts way longer than acrylic in bathrooms, something about moisture resistance. Same thing as @adam_hernandez said about learning the hard way, I used the cheap stuff once and it peeled in like two months. Picking the right kind really saves you a headache down the road.
