Found out the cheapest day to book a flight isn't Tuesday

I read a study from the Airlines Reporting Corporation that said Sunday is actually the best day for domestic fares, saving an average of 15%. This completely goes against the old travel advice I've always followed. Which day has worked best for you guys when you're looking for deals?

Honestly I've tried chasing those "best day to book" tips for years and it never seems to make a huge difference. The airlines change their pricing algorithms so much that any rule is outdated fast. I just set up price alerts and buy when the cost looks okay for my budget. Obsessing over the perfect day feels like a waste of energy.

Seriously, does the day of the week even matter that much anymore? Those old tips feel like they're from a different time when airlines didn't change prices every five minutes. Just find a decent price and book it before it goes up.
