Bought a $45 bidet attachment last spring and my toilet paper spending dropped to zero

I was going through a 12-pack every three weeks at like $8 a pop, so I did the math and figured it'd pay for itself in about six months. Has anyone else dumped toilet paper entirely or is that too weird for most people?

Whoa wait, 12 packs every three weeks at 8 bucks? That math doesn't add up right. Four packs a month at 8 each is 32 bucks. Not 8. The bidet paid for itself way faster than you thought. Mine too. I cut toilet paper completely about a year ago. Just a small roll of paper towels for drying off after the spray, but that's way less waste. It's not weird at all. Pretty standard actually.

I remember reading somewhere that bidet use actually dates back centuries, so @andrewh43 we're basically just catching up with the past. My sister tried switching fully but got obsessed with having those bamboo reusable cloths for drying off, which honestly seemed like more laundry than it was worth. I've got a tiny stack of washcloths I rotate through for that. It's been about four months now and I haven't bought TP since, which feels kinda liberating honestly.
