Bought a $40 stamp set for my weekly spreads and it backfired in the best way
I got this cute little set of date stamps from a shop in Portland to make my weekly headers look neat. The ink pad that came with it was so wet it bled through three pages of my Leuchtturm, leaving ghost dates on my monthly tracker. Now I have to plan my July around a bunch of faint, smudged numbers I can't get rid of. Anyone have a good fix for bad stamp ink, or should I just lean into the chaotic vibe?

Wait, it bled through THREE pages? That ink must have been practically soup. I've had stamps bleed a little but never make it through multiple layers of paper. Honestly, I'd just lean into the chaos and write around the ghosts. Trying to fix it might make a bigger mess.

Lean into the chaos" was my exact take too until I tried @reesepatel's sanding trick on a test page. It actually works pretty well without making things worse.

Actually, I'd try to fix it first. A light sanding with fine grit paper can take the ghosting down without wrecking the page. If that fails, then sure, work around it, but a clean page is worth a quick attempt.
