Spent $800 on a fancy drawer slide jig and it's been a total waste

I bought this heavy-duty jig last year thinking it would speed up my cabinet installs. Set it up on the first job, measured everything twice, and it still put the holes a quarter inch off. Had to hand-drill the rest anyway and lost half a day fixing it. Now it just collects dust in the corner of my shop. Anyone else have a tool that promised the world but just doesn't work for your flow?

Maybe it's not the jig, but your setup. A quarter inch off sounds like a calibration issue.

My old router was off by a solid 3mm until I redid the fence alignment. That quarter inch is definitely in the setup somewhere. You ever get it dialed in perfectly?

My last router project had a similar drift, drove me nuts for a week. You figure out the fix yet?
