Hit 1,200 cable terminations last month without even noticing

I was just cleaning out my truck and found my log book from last month, counted up 1,200 terminations. Back when I started in '08, 300 in a month was a big deal and my hands would ache for days. Anyone else surprised when they look back at their numbers and see how much the pace has changed?

It's funny how much our sense of normal changes without us noticing. You look at your numbers from 2008 and they feel like a different world, but the bigger thing is how much the whole pace of life has crept up on all of us. I see it at the grocery store, where everybody is rushing through aisles on their phones, or at the post office where people get annoyed if the line takes more than three minutes. We just absorb a faster rhythm and stop feeling it until we stop and count something like you did. It makes you wonder what we're doing to ourselves that we don't even register 1,200 terminations in a month.

oh wow wait i just realized that's actually 1,200 terminations not 1,200 people. thats a huge difference. feels way more brutal when you put it that way honestly.
