I was totally against using a medical ID bracelet until I collapsed at the grocery store in Fresno and nobody knew who to call.
The paramedic said my phone was locked and if I hadn't had that bracelet listing my epilepsy meds and emergency contact, they would've wasted 20 minutes figuring out my history at the ER.

Same thing happened to me but at a gas station in Bakersfield. Passed out by the pumps and nobody had any clue what was wrong with me until they found my bracelet in my pocket. It's scary how fast things can go south when strangers have no medical info to go off of.

Dude that's wild. I actually just read something about how medical ID bracelets are being replaced by QR code tattoos or NFC chips in some places. Still a ways off from being common though. I think the main problem is nobody checks pockets or bags when someone collapses, they just start doing CPR or whatever. Crazy how something as simple as a bracelet can be a lifesaver but if its not visible it does nothing. Glad you had that thing on you or it could have been way worse.
