That parking permit hassle at the DMV last month was brutal
I finally got my disabled parking placard renewed after 3 weeks of back and forth. They lost my doctor's form twice. Has anyone else had to deal with the Glendale DMV office?

Take your forms in person next time and make copies before you hand them over.

From the three different government offices I've dealt with this year, they all actually prefer digital submissions now. Making paper copies is smart, but they'll just scan them in and shred the originals half the time. I learned that the hard way when I mailed in a certified birth certificate and it took them six weeks to return it. If you do go in person, definitely bring your own copies and ask them to stamp the extra set as received. Just keep in mind that a lot of these offices are moving toward online portals whether we like it or not.
