Just heard a guy at the camera show say 'if it's not a Leica, it's not worth fixing' and I had to walk away

That kind of talk is just plain silly. It ignores so much great gear out there. My old Pentax would still be clicking if I hadn't dropped it. Felt like losing a friend. Some people just tie their whole identity to a brand name.
