Hitting 100 applications finally paid off in a way I didn't expect
I kept a simple spreadsheet every time I sent out a resume, starting back in March. When the counter hit 100 last week, I felt that strange mix of tired and proud. The surprise is that my 87th application, the one I almost skipped because the posting was two weeks old, got me a second interview. That company called me yesterday and offered a position making $8,000 more than my current job. The numbers mattered because they showed me that persistence beats perfect timing, especially in this market. Has anyone else tracked their application count and found the win came later than you thought?
