A recruiter told me to cut my resume from 2 pages to 1, and I finally did it
I applied to about 40 jobs over four months with a two page resume and got two callbacks. A recruiter I met at a job fair in Columbus looked at it for ten seconds and said I was burying my best stuff on page two. I cut it to one page, put my two big projects right at the top, and dropped the old warehouse job from 2011. Three weeks later I had four interviews lined up. Curious if anyone here keeps a longer version for certain industries, or is one page the way to go for everyone now?
