Saw empty cubicles at a job fair and it hit different

Walked the career expo at the Denver Convention Center last Tuesday and half the employer booths had no one staffing them by 2pm. The recruiters who did show were mostly handing out QR codes instead of talking. Has anyone else noticed companies putting in less face time at these events, or did I just catch a bad day?

Figured it was probably just a slow Tuesday. Half those booths are staffed by interns who'd rather be anywhere else anyway.

Did you actually get a chance to talk to any of them, @diana_black22? I swear half those kids looked like they were just counting down the hours till their shift ended. You're right though, definitely NOT a day to judge the place by.
