Shoutout to the free resume review at my library, took 20 minutes after I wasted a week on my own
I kept tweaking my resume for a week straight and got zero callbacks, so I finally walked into the downtown branch in Dayton and signed up for their free 30 min resume session. The guy there, Marcus, cut my two page resume down to one in 20 minutes and told me my skills section was just a wall of words nobody reads. I got two interview requests the next week, and now I'm wondering if anyone else has used a library service like this or did you pay someone instead? Curious what actually moved the needle for you.

My buddy Derek did the same thing at a branch in Columbus, lady named Pat told him his resume was too long and his bullet points said nothing. He cut it to one page and had a job offer in like three weeks. Way cheaper than those 200 dollar resume writers people pay online.
