Got into it with my buddy Marco about frozen veggies vs fresh for budget meals
He swears fresh is always better, but I told him I can get a 2 pound bag of frozen broccoli at Aldi for $2.19 and it lasts two weeks without going bad. Meanwhile his fresh spinach wilted in three days and he threw half of it out. Is the taste difference really worth the waste and extra cash, or are we just conditioned to think fresh is superior?
