Hit 100 miles on the West Side towpath trail last week

I started biking the towpath from Ohio City down to Brooklyn last spring just to get out of the house. Last week I added up my rides and realized I'd passed 100 miles without even trying. Has anyone else noticed how the trail conditions change depending on whether you go north or south of the Zoo?

The trail south of the Zoo is way more packed gravel and gets muddy after rain, so I usually stick to the northern stretch past the Ohio City bend. That section is smoother but has more roots popping up. I hit 85 miles on the towpath last month and it felt good to see the number add up without planning it. Solid work hitting triple digits.
