Trying to park on West 25th near the market took me 40 minutes last Saturday
I circled the blocks around West 25th and Lorain for about 40 minutes last Saturday, watching people pull out and then somebody else slide right in. There's a new paid lot by the market charging $12 flat, but the free street spots are like a game of musical chairs. So now I'm stuck on this: do we just give up and pay, or keep circling and hope? What's your go to move when it's busy down there?
That $12 lot by the market is actually $15 on Saturdays, I found that out the hard way a few weeks back. Not trying to be that person but the flat rate only works on weekdays, weekends they bump it up. Anyway, my move when Lorain is packed is to skip West 25th completely and park over on Bridge Ave by the old church. It's maybe a 7 minute walk but there's almost always spots and you don't burn gas circling. The circling thing is the worst because you're just bleeding time and fuel, and by the time you find something you're already mad. I'd rather walk a bit and keep my sanity.
