Back in '08, my shop had to pick between a new 5-axis mill or two more 3-axis ones.
We went with the two 3-axis machines, which let us run more jobs at once but meant turning down some complex aerospace work. Looking back, it kept us busy but I always wonder if we missed a big chance. Anyone else face a choice like that and wish they'd gone the other way?
