I chose a manual grinder over an electric one for my morning routine

Picked up a Timemore C2 last month and the extra minute of work makes the coffee taste noticeably better, I swear. Anyone else find that the grind from a hand crank just hits different?

My Timemore C3 sits in the cabinet because I got tired of the arm workout. I tried the side by side test with my old Baratza and the taste difference was so small. It felt more like a ritual than a real upgrade, and my morning time is worth more than that to me.

I totally get where @david739 is coming from. My Timemore C2 was the same, a real forearm burner for my two morning cups. I switched to a basic electric grinder I found on sale and honestly, my coffee tastes just as good. That extra five minutes of sleep beats the manual grind any day. It stopped being a fun ritual and just felt like a chore.

Get that hand grinder ritual thing, but I actually look forward to it in the mornings.
