inPSA: My neighbor told me to toss my bubble wrap when moving dishes
Went completely silent for a solid minute after reading that bubble wrap part. I mean, I've always thought more cushioning = better, you know? But now I'm sitting here remembering that move where my grandmother's china got a hairline crack and I just assumed it was the mover's fault. Guess I'll be stockpiling old newspapers from now on.

inTalked to an estate sale pro about pricing and it blew my mind
Heard this same thing from a guy who runs a booth at the flea market by my house. He told me he adds a 50% markup on everything just so people feel like they won when they talk him down. It's wild how much time people waste playing these games instead of just saying a price.

inUsed to do balayage with just a paddle brush, now I use a fan brush for more control
Used a paddle brush for 3 years straight before I grabbed a fan brush on a whim. The control is way better for keeping those fine baby lights near the roots without the harsh lines. Stick with what works for you but I'm glad I made the switch.

inMy buddy's cable management trick finally clicked for me
Nah I actually disagree with the whole "behind vs under" thing. I tried the back edge method and cables just ended up dangling weirdly when I needed to move my PC or plug something in. Underside with some good adhesive clips works way better for me because gravity keeps everything tight against the desk instead of flopping around. Also that whole "falling off" problem usually means you got weak adhesive or didn't clean the surface first, alcohol wipe and decent cable clips hold forever.

inHeard a neighbor say telescopes are useless in the city, made me rethink my whole setup
Feel like yall are hyping this up a bit too much. It's a fuzzy smudge in a telescope, not a life changing event. I've seen Andromeda from my backyard with a cheap pair of binoculars and it looked pretty much the same as it did from a dark sky site. Cloudy haze either way. People act like you're gonna get some spiritual awakening from seeing a slightly less blurry blob of light.
