Tried reading a digital comic vs floppy issue and it's not even close
I grabbed a digital copy of Ultimate Spider-Man on my tablet last week cause it was on sale for $1.99, but after 20 minutes of zooming and scrolling I just ordered the physical issue. Nothing beats that fresh ink smell and the way the pages feel in your hands, and my dog customers always say the same thing. Anyone else find digital just feels like homework?

Laughing at the battery comment because been there done that. Nothing like having your tablet die right when the Green Goblin is about to reveal some big secret lmao. Plus the glare on my screen makes me look like a vampire squinting at the sun mid-reading. Tried the whole digital thing with a few Image series and ended up just buying the collected editions anyway. Physical comics just feel like the reward after a long day instead of another screen to stare at.

You're gonna hate digital if you're used to floppies. I tried reading a digital copy of Saga and kept losing my place because the panels don't sit the same way. Plus you can't flip back to check a detail from last issue without tapping around like a maniac. The zooming is a pain, especially on a small tablet, and reading on a phone screen is even worse. Physical issues let you see the whole page at once, and you don't have to worry about battery dying mid-story.
